Fortsunlight is the studio of filmmaker and
motion-graphic artist
Adam Proctor.
I'm a freelance filmmaker and video journalist with over 20 years experience working in the moving image industry. Based in Fife in Scotland I work with clients from across the globe.
Recently I headed up the multimedia unit at BBC.com and BBC Global News. Working closely with journalists and editorial staff, I produced and commissioned hundreds of pieces of content designed to engage and activate digital audiences. Now, after almost 3 years commuting between Scotland and London, I have returned to freelance work.
Collaborating with other skilled professionals we can offer animation, motion-graphics, documentary, drone photography and timelapse. We produce video and animations for a range of sectors including online, broadcast, galleries, museums, theatre and corporate. Our clients range from BBC, Bloomberg & HBO to the Royal Scottish Academy & National Galleries of Scotland.
Thinking about a moving image project?... Big or small, just get in touch.
what we do…
How we do it…
Building strong stories, big emotions and moments that connect.
Launching into a multimedia project can feel bewildering - our processes are built around a collaborative relationship with our clients. It's our job to lay out all the possibilities open to you and help guide you to the right one for the message you wish to impart.
During the development phase we listen, examine and question in order to establish you goals and objectives. A great film needs a great script. A great script needs a great story. Great stories are told by great characters. Identifying your story and the characters who will tell it is at the heart of our process.
Our crew are experts in a variety of styles - from standard video production, motion-graphics explainers and animation through to aerial work with drones.
We can produce video to suit all budgets - from a one-person shoot to multi-crew, multi-location productions. Just get in touch and lets make something wonderful together.
